preschool service for children aged from 2 years 8 months to school
going age and an afterschool service to children of St. Raphael’s
National School. We are currently recruiting for an Early Years/
School Aged Teacher.
POSITION: EARLY YEARS/ SCHOOL AGED TEACHER
SERVICE: St. Raphael’s Preschool and Afterschool Project
LOCATION: St. Raphael’s National School, Kylemore Road, Ballyfermot,
Dublin *
HOURS: Full Time ( * Hours) 8.**Apply on the

COMMENCE DATE: Immediate
CONTRACT: Permanent
Early Years Teacher will report directly to the Manager/ Deputy
Manager.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach to early
childhood education and care
* Minimum Level 8 in Early Childhood Education
* At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
* Computer skills – knowledge of word & publisher
* Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in
building relationships with a small group of children and their
families according to the curriculum
* Excellent organisational skills
* Experience of working with school-aged children and preschool
children
* A child centered approach to working with children
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* HighScope Training
* Experience working with children that are experiencing
disadvantage and children with additional needs.
